Faeroes July 28, 2008 Celeste departs for her route to Faeroes. With start from Gothenburg Celeste sail to the Setland Islands for a short stop and then to Faeroes and Torshavn. The distance from Gothenburg to Torshavn is approx 650 nautical miles. After visit Faroes Islands Celeste sails back over the Norwegian Sea to Orkney. At Orkney we prepare for the last trip over the North sea. When we are closing Sweden, it will possible be time for a visit to Skagen, Denmarks most northern village before Celeste reach Gothenburg. The sailing adventure is a cruising route. All persons aboard are crew members and takes part in navigation, steering and watch keeping etc. In total the route is 1 500 NM.
