In the end of July 2008, Celeste started her North Atlantic Islands route 2008.

The route started from Gothenburg to Kattegatt and the North Sea to Shetland and Lerwick. In easterly wind Celeste sailed with spinnaker to the capital of Shetland, Lerwick. After a stop at Shetland the course was set north west out on the Norwegian sea to Faroes and Torshavn. On the Faroe Islands we did a day trip and took part of the Faroe nature and culture. From Faroes Celeste sailed south east to Orkney and Krikwall. The wind was now from west and Celeste sailed with here 300 sqm gennaker through the Orkney archipelago. After visiting the whisky destillery Highland Park and a bus trip to Ring of Brodgar end Brae, Celeste sailed back over the North sea in westerly winds to Danmark. Celeste was moored in the harbour of Skagen after 40 hoers of sailing from Orkney. From Skagen Celeste did a stop at Käringön at the swedish west coast before finishing the adventure in Gothenburg and Långedrag.
