Gothenburg - Shetland - Orkney - 2007

In beginning of May 2007, Celeste started her Shetland route 2007.

For a two week period, May 7-20, 2007, Celeste sailed over the North sea and back and stopped in Norway, Shetland, Fair Isle, Orkney, Danmark and Sweden. The weather was quit rough for the start with gale at the North sea. Because of problems with the steering system, Celeste turned back from the North sea to Norway, Flekkefjord, for repair. From Norway to Shetland there where better conditions. Early morning 19 May, Celeste arrived to Shetland and Lerwick.

In nice weather the route kept on to Fair Isle. From Fair Isle to Orkney there was wonderful sailing in perfect wind. At Orkney there was the traditional visit to Highland Park Whisky distillery. On 16 May the course was set back over the North sea. After a stop in Denmark, Skagen, 19 May, Celeste arrived in Gothenburg 20 May.
