Celeste Single Malt Race 2010 May 8, 2010 Celeste departs for her route to Scotland. Starting from Gothenburg Celeste sails to the Scottish east coast and Peters Head. In the area round the Bay of Morey Firth we explore the whisky from Speyside. The route keep on up north to Wick and the most northern destillery on Scotland mainland, Old Pulteney. We sail further north through Pentland Firth to Orkney for a visit at Highland Park. After the stop at Orkney Celeste sails back over the North Sea. When we are approaching Sweden, it will be time for a visit to Skagen, before Celeste reaches Gothenburg. All persons aboard are crew members and takes part in navigation, steering and watch keeping etc. If you want to visit Scotland and likes sailing in rough waters - this is the route for you.
